Using the 5D Mark IV with Pandora might require to use the RED DC OUTPUT of Pandora to power your camera with 8 volts.
Make sure the 12v switch in the control panel is OFF (the led must be off)
You can use the BMPCC with Pandora on the 7.4v Black output from the side of Pandora by removing the internal battery of your camera.
That will decrease the consumption of the camera and give you a few extra time.
You can also use the RED DC OUTPUT with 8v.
The other option and less recommended is to use the 12v Switch on for the RED DC OUTPUT
The GH4 audio setting is too sensitive compared to any other DSLR/Mirrorless, so if you want a much cleaner audio you should use the internal battery on your camera, and only use the Pandora for Audio.
GH5 has not been tested by the time this was written but we expect the same results, improving the quality by powering only the audio with Pandora.
Your Sony is not Hot-Swappable. Please read the manual before powering your camera from the DC Coupler and the Usb Port. Remember to always turn OFF your camera before charging or swapping batteries.

Pandora V1.5 (Shipped from June 2017)

  • Pandora must be ON for a full, faster charge. (Pandora OFF will charge up to 80%).
  • Automatic CUT OFF of POWER is not activated. Turn off Pandora and charge the batteries when the 2 RED leds start blinking on the control Panel.

Pandora V1.3 (Shipped before June 2017)

Pandora must be OFF for a ful charge.

Automatic CUT OFF of POWER is activated at 5.5v when the red leds blink on the control Panel.

  • DO NOT REMOVE THE BATTERY DOOR FROM THE CAMERA.
Battery door must be closed properly with the DC Coupler inside. But the CABLE should pass through the small hole in next to the battery door (usually a small rubber covers the hole)

  • LOW BATTERY (UNDER 7v MIGHT AFFECT THE QUALITY OF THE SOUND RECORDED OR SENT BY THE HEADPHONES)

  • ALWAYS UNPLUG THE BATTERY INSIDE PANDORA AFTER USE.
  • HEADPHONES are noisier than the audio output to the camera, so you might hear noise on the headphones that are not being recorded to the video file. We recommend to record a test and check the footage on the computer to know the sound your camera and microphone gets into the system.
  • We recommend to shut off the audio meters using the keys F1 and F2 on the control panel, to get rid of a small noise generated by the leds. (vu-meter)
